Overview

This is a private Eiffel Tower photoshoot in Paris, booked for your group only, with a professional photographer who meets you at Trocadéro and walks you to at least three photo spots around the tower in a 30-minute session. The photographer directs every pose, shoots without limit and shows the results on a large bright screen as you go, then selects and edits ten photos and sends them by digital link the same evening. It suits couples, friends, families and solo travellers who want polished Paris photos without waiting days for delivery. A shorter 15-minute session with five edited photos is also available. There is no hotel pickup; you meet at the Trocadéro metro exit with the tower in view.

Full Description

The Trocadéro esplanade, the classic Eiffel Tower viewpoint

Every Eiffel Tower photoshoot in Paris starts where the view is widest: the Trocadéro esplanade between the two curved wings of the Palais de Chaillot, built for the 1937 international exhibition on the hill across the river from the tower. From here the whole 330-metre iron lattice fills the frame, with the Pont d'Iéna and the fountains below, which is why this terrace is the most photographed spot in the city. The meeting point is in front of exit 1 of the Trocadéro metro station, on lines 6 and 9, with the tower already in view.

The photographer takes the first portraits here, using the balustrades, the steps and the low walls to keep the crowds out of the frame and the tower centred behind you. The esplanade is busiest from mid-morning onward, so the session moves quickly: a few minutes of classic shots, then down toward the gardens. If you are wondering how to get to Trocadéro, the metro drops you at the top of the terrace.

The Trocadéro Gardens and the fountains

Below the esplanade, the Trocadéro Gardens slope down to the Seine over about ten hectares of lawns, stone staircases and tree-lined paths laid out around the long basin of the Warsaw Fountain, whose water cannons play on warm afternoons and in the evening. The gardens were redesigned for the 1937 exhibition and are dotted with gilded bronze statues from that period. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the lower terraces is closer, with the fountain pools in the foreground, which gives a very different photo from the one taken up on the terrace.

This is the second main stop of the photoshoot, listed in the programme as the Trocadéro Gardens photo stop of about 15 minutes. The photographer uses the staircases and the carousel at the bottom of the gardens for walking shots and candid moments, and shows you each frame on the screen. The gardens are free to enter, and the light here is softer than on the exposed terrace above.

The Eiffel Tower, the subject of every frame

The Eiffel Tower was raised in just over two years for the 1889 world's fair and was meant to stand for twenty; it is now the symbol of Paris and the most visited paid monument in the world. The lattice is made of about 18,000 wrought-iron pieces held by 2.5 million rivets, repainted every seven years in three shades of bronze, lighter at the top so the tower reads as one colour against the sky. After dark it is lit in gold and sparkles for five minutes every hour.

You do not go up the tower during this session, and Eiffel Tower tickets are not included, but you are photographed with it from the angles that show it best. Many travellers book their own visit for later the same day: the lifts are a short walk across the Pont d'Iéna, and the best time to visit the Eiffel Tower is the last hour before sunset, to see the city by day and by night in one ticket.

The quieter third spot near the tower

The third location is the one the photographer keeps as a surprise. Around the Chaillot hill and the riverbank there are quieter corners a few minutes from the esplanade where the tower appears between trees, over rooftops or at the end of a stairway, and where stone and greenery give a softer backdrop than the open terrace. The exact spot depends on the light, the crowds and the look you want, which is why the programme simply calls it the secret stop, with about 15 minutes there.

This is usually where the most natural photos are taken: walking shots, laughter and relaxed portraits without a queue of other visitors behind you. The session ends here, a short walk from the metro stations on lines 6 and 9, and your edited photos arrive by link the same evening. Because the timing is tight, the photographer asks you to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so no part of the walk is lost.

Good to know

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to what travellers ask us most, before they book.

Is this a shared or a private experience?

It is fully private. Only your group is booked into the time slot, so the photographer works with you alone and no strangers appear in your photos.

How long does the photoshoot take?

The main session lasts 30 minutes and covers at least three spots around the Eiffel Tower. A 15-minute session at one spot with five edited photos is offered as a shorter option.

Is hotel pickup included?

No. You meet the photographer at the Trocadéro metro exit, which is on lines 6 and 9 and easy to reach from any part of Paris.

What is included?

A private session with a professional photographer, posing guidance, unlimited shots during the session, live preview of the images on a large screen, ten edited photos selected by the photographer and delivery by digital link the same evening.

Is the price per person or per group?

The session is priced per group, up to ten people, not per person. The booking panel on this page shows the current price for each session length and group size.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes, children are welcome within the group of up to ten; the photographer is used to directing families and keeps the pace relaxed. The booking is made as one group, without separate child tickets.

Is it suitable for people with reduced mobility?

The route includes staircases between the esplanade and the gardens, so it is not suitable for wheelchair users or travellers with mobility impairments. Please contact us if you need a single-spot session instead.

What should I wear and bring?

Clothes you feel confident in, comfortable shoes for the staircases and nothing else: the photographer brings all the equipment. Avoid very busy patterns, and bring a jacket outside summer, as the terrace is exposed.

What is the best time of day for an Eiffel Tower photoshoot?

The slots are in the late morning and early afternoon, when the light is even and the tower is fully lit from the Trocadéro side. Spring and autumn give the softest light; in summer the earliest slot is the quietest.

What happens in bad weather?

Light rain does not stop the session. In heavy rain or storms the photographer contacts you to move the session to another slot, and our team helps you reschedule.

Can I choose the photos myself or receive all the shots?

The photographer selects the ten photos included, in an honest and objective way, and this is explained in advance. If you would like all the pictures from the session, ask the photographer at the end; the extra editing is arranged directly with them.

How do I book and confirm?

Choose your date and time slot on this page and complete the booking. Our team confirms it on WhatsApp within minutes and sends the exact meeting point at Trocadéro.
