Cartagena: Cartagena is a Caribbean port city of about a million people on Colombia's north coast, with Rafael Núñez Airport (CTG) only about 5 km north-east of the UNESCO-listed Walled City, the beach towers of Bocagrande to the south and the Rosario Islands offshore.
Medellin: Medellín is Colombia's second city, a metropolis of about four million in the Aburrá Valley at roughly 1,500 metres, with José María Córdova Airport (MDE) in Rionegro about 35 km by road to the south-east and the small Olaya Herrera Airport (EOH) inside the city.
Planning a trip to Colombia
