Full Description
Trocadéro and the Palais de Chaillot, the meeting point
The session starts at Trocadéro, on the hill facing the Eiffel Tower across the Seine, in front of the architecture museum and the Chaillot theatre, the two wings of the Palais de Chaillot built for the 1937 international exhibition. Between the wings the esplanade opens onto the most famous view in Paris: the tower head-on, with the Pont d'Iéna and the Trocadéro fountains below. The Trocadéro metro station on lines 6 and 9 is two minutes away, which makes this the easiest meeting point in the city for a photo session.
The photographer takes the first frames here, using the gilded statues of the terrace, the columns of the museum and the balustrades to frame the tower behind you. Because the esplanade is also the busiest spot in the area, the stay is short and the session moves on quickly to quieter locations on the hill and by the river. If you want the terrace to yourself, book the 08:00 slot.
The Eiffel Tower through the day, from sunrise to the lights
The Eiffel Tower, 330 metres of wrought iron raised for the 1889 world's fair, looks different at every hour, and this photoshoot lets you choose which version you want. At 08:00 the light is low and golden, the esplanade is almost empty and the tower stands against a clear sky. Through the day it reads as a dark silhouette or a warm bronze depending on the clouds. In the hour before sunset the iron glows, and after dark the tower is lit in gold and sparkles for five minutes at the top of each hour, which the late slots are timed to catch.
The photographer knows where to stand for each of these moments and which spots keep the tower in frame without a crowd in front of it. Many couples choose the sunset slot and finish with the sparkle; families usually prefer the morning. The best time of day for an Eiffel Tower photoshoot is therefore the one that fits the pictures you have in mind.
The Pont de Bir-Hakeim and the Seine quays
A short walk downstream from the Trocadéro, the Pont de Bir-Hakeim is one of the locations photographers around the tower like best. Built in 1905, the two-level bridge carries metro line 6 on an iron viaduct above a road and pedestrian deck, and the colonnade of steel pillars on the lower level frames the Eiffel Tower perfectly at the end of the walkway. The island in the middle of the river below the bridge, the Île aux Cygnes, has a tree-lined path that gives another angle, with the tower rising over the water.
The quays on both banks between the bridge and the tower offer stone walls, steps and moored boats for more relaxed pictures, and the photographer may use them depending on the light and the crowds. Walking here from the esplanade takes about ten minutes, which is why a one-hour session, rather than a short one, makes several locations around the Eiffel Tower possible.
The Champ de Mars and the quiet streets of the 7th
On the far side of the river the Champ de Mars stretches from the feet of the tower to the École Militaire: a long public garden laid out as a parade ground in the 18th century, with lawns, tree-lined alleys and the tower filling the sky at one end. The lawns closest to the tower are busy, but the alleys on either side and the quiet residential streets of the 7th arrondissement around them give classic Parisian backdrops, cream stone buildings, wrought-iron balconies and the tower appearing at the end of the street.
Where the session goes depends on what you want and how much time is left; the photographer plans this with you by phone before the day. Wherever it ends, you are within a few minutes of the Bir-Hakeim, Trocadéro or École Militaire metro stations, and your 55 edited photos arrive by link within 48 hours.

It is fully private. The photographer works only with your group for the whole hour, and nobody else is booked into your slot.
How long does the photoshoot take?
One hour, including the walks between the locations and time to change an outfit. A separate romantic couple session with flowers, also one hour, is offered as another option.
Is hotel pickup included?
No. You meet the photographer at Trocadéro, two minutes from the metro station on lines 6 and 9.
What is included?
A private one-hour photo session with a local professional photographer, several locations around the Eiffel Tower, guidance on posing and movement, 55 high-quality edited digital photos delivered within 48 hours, and tips on local food, transport and Paris life.
Is the price per person or per group?
The session is priced per group, up to ten people, not per person. The booking panel on this page shows the current price for your group size.
Is it suitable for children and families?
Yes. Family sessions work very well, and the photographer adapts the pace and the poses to children. The morning slots are the calmest for families.
Is it suitable for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, the route can be adapted: the Trocadéro esplanade and the Champ de Mars are flat, and the photographer can plan locations without steps if you tell us when booking.
What should I wear and bring?
Clothes you feel confident in, with one or two changes if you like, and comfortable shoes for the walks. Plain colours stand out well against the iron tower; the photographer gives advice by phone before the day.
What is the best time of day for an Eiffel Tower photoshoot?
The 08:00 slot has the softest light and the emptiest esplanade; the hour before sunset gives the warmest colours; the evening slots catch the tower lit and sparkling at the top of the hour. All are good, so choose the mood you want.
What happens in bad weather?
Light rain is not a problem and often makes for atmospheric pictures. In heavy rain or storms the photographer offers to move the session to another slot, and our team helps you reschedule.
