Day One: The Tower, the River and the Louvre

From the tower it is a short walk to the river for a cruise that passes the Louvre, Notre-Dame and the bridges. The guide adjusts the pace to the children, handles the timed entries and answers the questions the family has, which in Paris are many. Nobody navigates, queues or translates.

Food and Prayer

Paris has one of Europe's largest Muslim communities and halal restaurants in every district; the plan lists two or three near each stop and near the hotel.
