The Fırtına River road

Çat Valley

Çat Valley opens as the road climbs away from the coast, with steep green slopes rising on both sides and scattered timber houses marking small highland settlements. Streams cut through the valley floor and feed into the wider river system that the group has followed since the morning.

The road narrows here and winds closer to the terrain than the wider coastal stretches. This section shows how remote and self-contained highland life around Çat remains.
