Köprülü Canyon National Park

Köprülü Canyon is a deep limestone gorge carved by the Köprüçay River in the Taurus Mountains, roughly 90 km northeast of Antalya. The national park protects pine, cypress and plane-tree forests along steep canyon walls, and the river is fed by mountain springs, so the water stays cold and clear even in high summer. The rafting run covers about 14 km of river and around ten rapid sections, mostly beginner-friendly, separated by calm stretches where you can float, splash and jump in for a swim. Helmets, life jackets and paddles are all provided.

Expect roughly two to two and a half hours on the water, depending on the river level and the group. The stop is short, around 15 to 20 minutes, but it is one of the best views of the day, with the river running far below between vertical rock walls. Bring your phone in a waterproof pouch or leave it with your bag on the shore before boarding the raft. Along the river you also pass small fish restaurants and shaded picnic spots that give the valley its relaxed village feel.

Zipline Over the Valley

There is no need for special clothing beyond the closed-toe shoes you already wear for rafting. Jeep, Buggy and Quad Safari in the Taurus Foothills

The off-road part of the day comes with the combination options. The buggy or quad safari follows dusty, rocky and muddy tracks on the slopes above the canyon, and the jeep safari climbs mountain roads past pine forest, orchards and small farming villages where daily life still moves at a slow pace. You will come back covered in dust, so wear clothes that can get dirty.
