Best time to visit Dubai

November to March is the pleasant season; summer is very hot and humid, which is when a cool car at the door matters most. Sheikh Zayed Road is slowest on weekday evenings.

Getting around Dubai

The Dubai Metro Red Line runs from DXB Terminals 1 and 3 through Downtown to the Marina and Expo, and it is genuinely useful for a light traveller; with family luggage, or for a villa or hotel off the line, a car door to door is faster and cooler.

If you are staying in Business Bay, Dubai Creek Harbour and Festival City and Jebel Ali and the Expo City side, you are well placed for it.
