Day two: old and new Dubai with your guide, then At The Top

The private city tour is where the guide earns his keep. The morning usually begins on the creek side of the city: the wind-tower lanes of Al Fahidi, an abra crossing to Deira, and the spice and gold souks, with the guide handling the bargaining vocabulary. From there the car moves to Jumeirah Mosque and the beach road before reaching Downtown. Sky Views is the observatory on the twin towers of Address Sky View in Downtown, with a glass-floored walk and a slide along the outside of the building for the brave. The alternative is a helicopter flight over the coast, giving the Palm, the Burj Al Arab and the Downtown skyline from the air in a single loop. Either option is finished in good time for late check-out or luggage storage at the hotel, after which the V-Class takes you to the airport for your flight home.
