Full Description
Aqua Natura – Benidorm's family water park
Aqua Natura sits on the same site as the Terra Natura wildlife park, on the edge of Benidorm, and covers a large open area designed so that parents can keep an eye on children while relaxing in the sun. The park is organised in five sections: the main pool, the water slides, the children's pool, the lighthouse and the relaxation area, all connected by a promenade that leads to a sandy beach where you can laze in the sun or take a refreshing dip.
It is a welcoming, less hectic alternative to the biggest coastal water parks and a favourite for families who want a full day of water fun without long queues. Plan four to six hours, and arrive close to opening time in July and August to find a good spot on the lawns.
Water slides and La Cresta
The water slides stretch for more than a kilometre in total, from gentle family chutes to fast tubes and open drops. The star is La Cresta, where the steep fall gives you a moment of zero gravity before you splash into the pool. Teenagers and adults love it, while younger riders can build up confidence on the smaller slides.
Lifeguards supervise every slide, and height or age rules apply to some of them for safety. Mornings are usually the quietest time for the slides, before the afternoon crowds arrive. Between rides, the main pool and the beach area are the place to float, sunbathe and watch the younger members of the family take their first runs.
Children's zone and relaxation area
The children's zone has two swimming pools, including a splash pool around a colourful central structure that tips dozens of litres of water over everyone below, with walkways, hidden corners and interactive water games. It is designed for younger children, with shallow water and plenty of space for parents to sit nearby.
Adults can escape to the relaxation area with its hot tub and solarium, a calm space to rest between swims. Around the park, green lawns and shady trees invite you to lay out a towel and enjoy a picnic while recharging your batteries. This balance of action and calm is what makes Aqua Natura one of the best water parks in Benidorm for families with young children.
The sea lion show
The sea lion show is included in your ticket and is a highlight for children. The keepers demonstrate how sea lions swim, dive and communicate, and explain their habitat, breeding and way of life. The show is also a lesson in respect for marine animals, with messages about ocean pollution and how to protect marine life.
Check the show times when you arrive so you can plan your day around them. A separate swim-with-sea-lions experience exists for those who want more, but it is not included in this ticket. Arrive a few minutes early to get a good seat in the shaded stands, especially in July and August when the show is at its busiest.
Opening hours and how to get to Aqua Natura
