Full Description
Super Paradise Beach, Mykonos
Super Paradise Beach lies on the south coast of Mykonos, about 6 km southeast of Mykonos Town, in a deep bay framed by bare rocky hills. The beach is a curve of golden sand that slopes gently into clear, turquoise water, and because it faces south it is well sheltered from the meltemi, the strong north wind that blows across the Cyclades in July and August. That shelter is why the south coast beaches stay calm when the north of the island is choppy.
The atmosphere changes during the day: the morning is relaxed and good for swimming, while summer afternoons bring music and a lively, sociable crowd. Many visitors ask whether Super Paradise Beach is worth visiting; for the colour of the water, the dramatic setting and the energy of a classic Mykonos beach day, it is one of the island's most rewarding stops.
Your reserved sunbed and the beach facilities
The booking gives you one sunbed for the whole day in the row you choose. The default first-row sunbed is the closest to the sea and comes with a beach towel, as does the second row. The third and fourth rows are a few steps from the water, the fifth to seventh rows sit in the middle of the beach, and the eighth row and further back are the best-value choice; towels are not given in these rows, so bring your own.
All options include access to the facilities of the reserved area. Food and drinks are not included but are sold on site, so you can stay from late morning until the end of the day without leaving the sand. In July and August the front rows are taken early by walk-in visitors, which is exactly why a reservation made in advance is worth having.
How to get to Super Paradise Beach
Transport is not part of this booking, so plan your trip to the beach in advance. The quickest way is by taxi or rental car from Mykonos Town, a drive of around 20 minutes; the last stretch is a narrow, winding road that drops steeply down to the bay, so drive slowly. In the summer season, public buses and sea taxis also serve the south coast beaches, and a sea taxi ride along the coast is a pleasant way to arrive.
The best time to visit Super Paradise Beach is June or September, when the sea is warm and the beach is a little calmer; July and August are the busiest months. Aim to arrive within your time window between 10:00 and 12:00, and keep your booking on your phone ready to show at the reception.
The south coast beaches and Mykonos Town
Super Paradise is one of a string of sandy bays along the south coast. Paradise Beach lies just to the west, while Agrari and the long beach of Elia are a short drive to the east, so it is easy to explore the coast over several days. The surrounding hills are dry and rocky, typical of the Cycladic landscape, and the view across the bay is one of the most photographed on the island.
In the evening, Mykonos Town is the natural place to end your day. Its white lanes lead to Little Venice, where old captains' houses stand right over the water, and to the row of windmills on the hill above. If you want to add history to your beach days, we also arrange boat trips to the ancient sanctuary of Delos and cruises to Rhenia from Mykonos.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to what travellers ask us most, before they book.
Is this a shared or a private experience?
It is a sunbed reservation on a shared public beach. The sunbed is reserved for you alone for the whole day, but the beach and its facilities are shared with other visitors.
How long does it take?
The booking is valid for one full day. You arrive between 10:00 and 12:00 and can keep your sunbed until the end of the beach day.
Is hotel pickup included?
No. Transport to and from the beach is not included. A taxi or rental car is the quickest option, and buses and sea taxis serve the south coast beaches in summer.
What is included?
The default option includes a first-row sunbed for the whole day, a beach towel and access to all the beach facilities. Other row options include the sunbed and facilities, with towels only in the second row.
Is the price per person or per group?
The price is per person, as each guest books their own sunbed. The booking panel on this page shows the current price of each row option.
Is it suitable for children or people with reduced mobility?
Guests of all ages can book. The road down to the bay is steep and the beach is soft sand, so access can be difficult for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility.
What should I bring?
Swimwear, sun cream, sunglasses, a hat, water, and your own towel if you book from the third row back. Bring cash or a card for food and drinks.
What is the best time of day and season?
Mornings are calmer and best for swimming, while afternoons are lively with music. June and September offer warm water and slightly fewer people than July and August.
What happens in bad weather?
Summer in Mykonos is usually dry and sunny, and the south coast is sheltered from the north wind. If conditions ever make the beach unsafe, our team contacts you to discuss another date.
How do I book and confirm?
Choose your row and date in the booking panel and send your request. Our team confirms your booking on WhatsApp within minutes and sends everything you need for check-in.
How do I get to Super Paradise Beach from Mykonos Town?
It takes about 20 minutes by taxi or car from Mykonos Town, ending with a steep, winding road down to the bay. In summer you can also use public buses or a sea taxi along the south coast.
Can I choose a different row?
Yes. Besides the first row, you can book the second row, the third or fourth row, the fifth to seventh rows, or the eighth row and further back.
