Getting to Delhi: the airports

Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is about 16 km south-west of central Delhi and 5 km from the Aerocity hotels, roughly 20 km from Gurugram, 45 km from Noida, and about 235 km from Agra; most international flights use Terminal 3.

The Airport Express metro reaches New Delhi Station in about 20 minutes and suits a hotel near a metro stop with a small bag; a hotel elsewhere, a family with luggage, a late-night arrival, or a long-distance destination such as Agra or Jaipur is far easier by private car from the terminal.

Where to stay in Delhi
