Stanley Park and the Vancouver waterfront
Stanley Park is a forested peninsula of about 400 hectares at the edge of downtown, and it is the natural start to any Vancouver city tour. Your guide takes you along the park's edge with stops at viewpoints, where you see the harbour, the North Shore Mountains and the Lions Gate Bridge. The seawall around the park is a popular walking and cycling route.

Gastown and Chinatown
Gastown is Vancouver's oldest neighbourhood, with cobbled streets, Victorian buildings and the famous steam clock. The area takes its name from a talkative former steamboat captain who arrived in the 1860s, and it grew into the original heart of the city. Today it is filled with galleries, design shops and cafes.
Vancouver's Chinatown, one of the largest in North America, lies a few blocks away. The second half of the tour is Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver. The suspension bridge is about 137 metres long and hangs roughly 70 metres above the river, and it has been a visitor attraction since 1889. Beyond it, Cliffwalk follows a cantilevered path along the granite wall, and Treetops Adventure links old-growth Douglas firs by suspension bridges.
