Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU), the city's newer airport and main international gateway, lies about 50 km south-east of Tianfu Square, around an hour by car on the airport expressway; the panda base is about 70 km away and Leshan about 130 km.
Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU) lies about 16 km south-west of Tianfu Square, 30 to 40 minutes by car; the panda base is about 30 km away and Chengdu Tianfu Airport about 60 km, so check which airport is on your ticket.

How much does a transfer from the airport to Chengdu cost?

Where do I meet the driver at the airport?
It varies by airport and terminal: a set meeting point inside arrivals, a specific exit, or the driver with a name board just after customs. Your WhatsApp confirmation gives the exact place, the driver's name and a phone number.
What if my flight is delayed?
