New Chitose Airport (CTS) is about 45 km south-east of central Sapporo, around 1 hour by car or about 40 minutes by rapid train to Sapporo Station; Lake Shikotsu is about 25 km, Noboribetsu about 65 km, Otaru about 80 km and Niseko about 110 km by road.
