Full Description
Hollywood Boulevard and Movie World Studios
Parque Warner opened in 2002 and is the only theme park in Europe dedicated to Warner Bros. films. You enter along Hollywood Boulevard, a street of themed shops and restaurants inspired by classic Hollywood, and continue to Movie World Studios, where sets, stunts and effects show how films are made.
If you are asking what to do at Parque Warner Madrid, start here in the morning while queues are shorter. The area is a good place to plan your day, check the show times on the park map and enjoy a first souvenir stop before heading to the bigger rides.
DC Super Heroes World and the Thrill Rides
DC Super Heroes World is the adrenaline heart of the park. Its most famous ride is Batman Gotham City Escape, a multi-launch roller coaster that has won awards for its speed and theming, and the area also includes Superman-themed rides for teenagers and adults. Ride heights are limited, so check requirements at the entrance.
Because the park is busy on weekends and school holidays, thrill-seekers normally head straight to these rides at opening or use the quieter late afternoon. Children and adults alike appreciate the dramatic theming that surrounds each attraction.
Old West Territory and Cartoon Village
Old West Territory takes you back to the Wild West with saloon-style buildings, cowboy shows and a wooden coaster, a good option for families with older children. Cartoon Village is the section for younger visitors, where Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and other Looney Tunes characters greet children and gentle rides suit smaller heights.
Shows run through the day across the park, including the Crazy Police Academy stunt show, and seasonal programmes such as Super Heroes Month, Halloween and Christmas change the atmosphere. Check the day's schedule when you arrive.
