The heart of the visit is the circuit of baths at different temperatures. The eucalyptus steam room clears the breath, and a traditional bowl of water poured over you completes the cycle.

Between baths, rest on the hot stone bench and sip warm mint tea. With our default option, you spend about 45 minutes in the baths before your treatments. The hammam is mixed-gender, except in the changing rooms, and swimwear is required; it can be bought at reception if you forget it. Long hair must be tied back, and guests are asked to keep their voices low.

Hot stone ritual and relaxing massage

Our default option is the most complete treatment. First comes a 15-minute skin purification ritual on a hot stone bed, a traditional way of cleansing and softening the skin after the heat of the baths. Then you enjoy a 30-minute relaxing massage, soft or deeper as you prefer, to release the tension of travel and long days of sightseeing.

Other options let you change the balance: 75 minutes in the baths with a 15-minute massage, 60 minutes with a 30-minute massage, or 45 minutes with a full 45-minute massage. Whichever you choose, the total session lasts 90 minutes. Please tell us about any health conditions, allergies or massage preferences when booking so the therapists can adapt the treatment.

Planning your visit to the hammam

The default session starts at 14:00; other options have morning, afternoon and evening times. Arrive at reception a little before your session to change calmly. Towels, a locker, shower gel, shampoo and a hairdryer are provided, so you only need your swimwear. Cameras and filming are not allowed, to protect the privacy of all guests.

The hammam is a few minutes on foot from the cathedral and the shopping streets of the old town.
