After a safety briefing, you ride across the bay behind an instructor. Our default option is the 90-minute route, the longest and wildest, heading to the cliffs and sea caves of Coll Baix on the Cap des Pinar peninsula, with a swim if the sea allows. Other options include a 1-hour ride to the Alcanada lighthouse and a sunset tour. Each jet ski carries one or two people, and no licence is required. It is a shared small-group activity, with life jacket, insurance, fuel and return transfer included.

Full Description
Cala Millor, the meeting point
Your day begins in Cala Millor, one of the main resorts on the east coast of Mallorca, known for its long sandy beach of almost two kilometres and its seafront promenade. You choose the meeting point at booking, and the team welcomes you there at 08:50 for the departure.
From Cala Millor, a comfortable van takes you across the island to the jet ski base on the Bay of Alcúdia, a journey through the countryside of the north-east. This transfer is included both ways, so you do not need a car. If you are staying in Sa Coma, S'Illot or Cala Bona, Cala Millor is only a short ride away, making this one of the most convenient water sports in Cala Millor and the surrounding area.
The Bay of Alcúdia
The Bay of Alcúdia is one of the largest bays in Mallorca, with a long sandy shore stretching from Port d'Alcúdia to Can Picafort and wide, open water ideal for jet skiing. At the base you leave your things in a locker, change, put on your life jacket and listen to the instructor's briefing on how to drive the jet ski safely.
Then the group sets off across the bay, with the mountains of the north behind you and the sea changing from turquoise near the shore to deep blue further out. The instructor leads at a pace that suits everyone, with time to open the throttle on the straight sections. The full experience, including transfers, takes most of the morning.
Coll Baix and the sea caves
The default 90-minute route heads north to the wildest part of the coast: the Cap des Pinar peninsula, where pine-covered cliffs fall steeply into the sea. Here lies Coll Baix, a remote beach of white pebbles at the foot of high cliffs, reachable on land only by a long, steep path, so it feels truly untouched.
Along these cliffs, the waves have carved caves and hollows that you can admire from the water, including the cave that gives this tour its name. If the sea is calm, the group stops for a swim in the crystal-clear water. Is the Coll Baix jet ski tour worth it? For anyone who wants more than a quick spin, this route offers real scenery, adventure and a sense of discovery.
Alcanada lighthouse and the sunset option
If you choose the 1-hour option, the ride crosses the bay to the small island of Alcanada, crowned by a white 19th-century lighthouse and surrounded by pine trees, one of the most photographed views in the north of Mallorca. The sunset option follows the bay as the evening light turns the sea gold and pink, a beautiful way to end a holiday day.
All options include the transfer from Cala Millor, briefing, guide, life jacket, insurance and fuel. The best time for jet skiing in Mallorca is from May to October, when the water is warm; mornings usually bring the calmest sea. Weather conditions decide each day, and routes can be adapted for safety.
