Full Description
Universal Studios Florida
Universal Studios Florida is the park themed around the world of film and television production, with streets designed like sets, big-screen attractions and shows. It combines thrill rides with dark rides, live entertainment and family-friendly experiences, so it works for mixed groups of ages. Many visitors start their Universal Orlando tickets here, close to the resort entrance.
The park is compact, and rides with short waits early in the morning can be done first, leaving shows and slower attractions for the middle of the day. With a Park-to-Park ticket you can leave for Islands of Adventure whenever you like, so you never have to choose one over the other. Check the height and safety notices before queuing, especially with young children.
Islands of Adventure
Islands of Adventure is known for its themed islands, each with its own scenery, and for some of the most thrilling coasters in Florida. The layout is a loop around a central lagoon, so it is easy to walk from one land to the next. Strong swimmers and thrill seekers will find plenty to enjoy, and younger children have their own gentle rides.
Many guests spend a full day here, and the park stays open late in busy seasons. Water rides can soak you, so bring a poncho or a change of clothes, and use the lockers for phones and loose items. A Park-to-Park ticket lets you switch parks on the same day, and the train connects the two.
Universal Epic Universe
Universal Epic Universe is the newest of the resort's theme parks, opened in 2025, a short drive from the original resort. It has a central garden hub and several large themed worlds, each with its own rides, shows and architecture. It is a very large park, and one full day is the minimum for a satisfying visit.
The main option on this page includes one full day at Epic Universe as a separate day from your Park-to-Park day. The two days do not have to be consecutive, provided you use them within the 5-day validity of the ticket. Plan your arrival early, download the resort's official app and check ride opening times.
Park-to-Park travel, tickets and planning
With a Park-to-Park ticket you can enter both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure on the same day, and travel between them by train. Depending on the option you choose, you have one or two days of that access, and the 2-day ticket is valid for 5 days from activation. The 1-day option is valid only on the selected date, so choose it carefully.
Parking, food and beverages, separately ticketed events and Universal Volcano Bay are not included. Children aged 3 to 9 have their own price category, and adult tickets start at age 10. Opening hours change by season, so check the booking panel and the resort's website, and remember that popular days sell out.
