Full Description

Kayaking along the Alcúdia coast

The adventure starts on the water, paddling a kayak along the rocky coastline near Alcúdia in the north of Mallorca. The bay is generally sheltered, the water is clear turquoise, and the guides teach the basics before you set off, so you do not need any experience to enjoy a Mallorca kayak tour.

Paddling gives a different perspective on the coast, with cliffs, coves and pine-covered slopes rising from the sea. It is a good workout, but the pace is relaxed and the guides stay close, watching everyone's comfort. Life jackets and helmets are provided for everyone.

The sea cave and the treasure hunt

The kayaks head to a marine cave with crystal-clear water inside, where the treasure hunt begins. The guides give clues and a story, and finding the key that unlocks the sunken treasure turns the outing into a game that children enjoy as much as adults.

Sea cave exploration is a highlight for many visitors, as the light inside the cave changes the colour of the water. If you suffer from claustrophobia, tell the guides in advance, since the cave is a small enclosed space. Photos and short videos of the discovery are taken by the guides, so you can simply enjoy the moment.

Coastal trek, cliff jumping and snorkelling

After the kayak you follow a short trek along the coast to a spot from which you can jump into deep, safe water. The cliff jump is optional, so you can watch and cheer, and the guides show how to jump and where the water is deep enough.

Then comes the snorkelling, searching the seabed for the sunken treasure among the fish. Mask, snorkel and wetsuit are provided. It is recommended to know how to swim, and the guides supervise throughout. The trek is short and easy, and water shoes are supplied to protect your feet on the rocks.

Beach picnic and practical details

The day ends with a picnic on the beach of camping-style snacks and drinks, a chance to relax and celebrate the discovery of the treasure. Photos taken during the adventure are included, so you do not need to bring a camera.

Pickup is included in Alcúdia, Port d'Alcúdia, Playa de Muro and Can Picafort, starting between 20 and 50 minutes before the activity. The best time for the tour is in the warm season, when the sea is warm enough for a long swim. Please note the weight limit of 110 kg because of the kayaks.
