Velana International Airport (MLE) is on Hulhulé island about 4 km from central Malé, 10 to 15 minutes by car over the Sinamalé Bridge and minutes from Hulhumalé by the causeway; Maafushi is 30 to 45 minutes and Dhiffushi 45 to 60 minutes by speedboat from the airport jetty, and Dhigurah in South Ari Atoll is about 95 km away, 1.5 to 2 hours by speedboat or a 20-minute domestic flight to Maamigili followed by a 10 to 15-minute boat ride.
