Tandem Paragliding over Cleopatra Beach Alanya

Overview

This is a tandem paragliding flight over Alanya's coast. You take off from a cliff above Cleopatra Bay with an experienced pilot, glide over the turquoise sea, the beach and the old peninsula, and land on the sand of Cleopatra Beach. You need no experience: the pilot briefs you, fits the equipment and does the flying. Choose the option with hotel pickup and drop-off, or the one where you reach the meeting point yourself. It suits adventurous adults and children from the minimum age.

Itinerary

1. Pickup or arrival at the meeting pointWith the hotel option the vehicle collects you in your pickup area; otherwise you arrive at the meeting point confirmed after booking.
2. Transfer to the take-off siteA short drive up to the cliff above Cleopatra Bay.
3. Safety briefing and equipmentYour pilot explains the flight, fits the harness and helmet and shows you the take-off run, about 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Take-offYou run a few steps with your pilot and the wing lifts you off the cliff.
5. Flight over the bayGlide over the sea, the coast and Alanya for around 15 to 25 minutes, depending on the weather.
6. Landing on Cleopatra BeachTouch down on the sand, where the ground team helps you out of the harness.
7. Drop-offWith the hotel option you are taken back to your hotel; otherwise your experience ends at the beach.

Meeting point

With the hotel pickup and drop-off option, we collect you from hotels in Alanya, Mahmutlar, Avsallar and Okurcalar; the booking panel shows the departure times, and the exact pickup time is confirmed after booking. With the meeting point option, you make your own way to the meeting point, and its details are sent to you once you book.

Important information

• Minimum age is 7 years; weight limit applies and pregnant women cannot fly.
• Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy closed shoes such as trainers; sandals and flip-flops are not suitable for the take-off run.
• Bring sunglasses, sun protection and water.
• Photos and videos are not included in the price; follow your pilot's instructions about phones and cameras during the flight.
• A take-off point entry fee is payable on site and is not included in the booking.
• Flights depend on wind and weather; if the flight cannot go ahead we offer another date.
