Full Description

The White Rabbit Immersive Experience

White Rabbit is not a classic museum with labels behind glass. It is a series of ten designed spaces meant to be felt, from a projection-mapped room to an immersive cube and a virtual-reality piece. Each room was made by a Barcelona artist and offers a different way into the city, so the White Rabbit Barcelona experience feels closer to a walk through a story than to a gallery visit.

Most visitors spend about an hour, moving at their own pace from room to room. Photographs are part of the appeal, and the colour, mirrors and light make the rooms very photogenic. The route is suitable for adults and children who are comfortable with darker rooms and moving projections.

Catalan Culture You Can Step Into

The installations are built around the customs that define Catalonia. Sant Jordi on 23 April is Barcelona's day of books and roses, the castellers build human towers that are recognised by UNESCO as intangible heritage, and the correfoc is a fire-run parade with dragons and devils. Another room is dedicated to the magic of Montjuïc, the hill above the harbour.

For visitors who have only seen the famous buildings, this is a friendly introduction to the traditions of Catalonia. It works well as a first stop in the city because it explains what you will see in the streets during festivals, and it is a good place to learn about Catalan culture in an entertaining way.

VR, the Immersive Cube and the Infinity Room

The technical highlights are a virtual-reality experience, a 360° immersive cube where images surround you completely, and one of the largest infinity rooms in Barcelona, a mirrored space that seems to continue forever. These rooms are the most popular for photographs and short videos, so give yourself a little time in each.

If you are sensitive to flashing lights or motion, let the staff know before you use the VR headset. The rest of the exhibition can be enjoyed without it. Wheelchair-accessible routes are available in the venue, and the OFF SHOP at the exit sells gifts and treats from local brands.

Visiting White Rabbit on Passeig de Gràcia

White Rabbit is on Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona's most elegant avenue, a minute's walk from Casa Batlló and close to Casa Milà, so it fits naturally into a day of Modernist sights. The Passeig de Gràcia metro station is a short walk away. If you are wondering whether White Rabbit is worth visiting, it is a strong choice for a rainy afternoon, a family activity or an evening plan.

Your ticket is open-time: you can enter at any time during opening hours on the selected date, and the last entry is in the evening, around seven o'clock. The best time to visit is a weekday morning or early afternoon, when the rooms are least busy.
