Boracay Parasailing with 360 Camera Video

Overview

Boracay parasailing is one of the island's signature water activities, and this booking adds a 360-degree camera so you take home a full video of your flight. A speedboat takes you out to the flying area, the crew straps you into a harness under a large parachute, and the boat's pull lifts you gently high above the sea for about 15 minutes. From up there you look down on White Beach, the reefs and the green hills of the island, with the camera recording every angle. The default option is a solo flight; another option lets 2 or 3 people fly together. Safety gear and a local guide who escorts you to the activity area are included. Great for couples, friends and adventurous families.

Highlights

  • About 15 minutes in the air above Boracay's turquoise water

  • Boat ride to and from the flying area included
  • A local guide escorts you from the meeting point to the activity area
  • Solo flight on the default option; a 2 to 3 flyer option is also available
  • Departures through the day, from morning to mid-afternoon

Full Description

The Parasailing Experience in Boracay

Parasailing in Boracay works with a specially rigged speedboat and a large parachute attached by a long line. After a short briefing, the crew fits your harness and life jacket on the launch deck at the back of the boat; as the boat accelerates, the parachute fills with wind and lifts you smoothly into the air. There is no jumping and no steering to do: you simply sit in the harness and enjoy the ride.

The flight lasts about 15 minutes in the air, and the whole activity, including the boat ride out and back, takes around 45 minutes to an hour. It feels surprisingly calm up there, with only the sound of the wind. The crew watches you constantly and controls the height and speed from the boat, then brings you gently back to the deck at the end.

The View: White Beach, Reefs and the Island Coast

The real reward of Boracay parasailing is the view. As you rise, White Beach unfolds into a long white curve along the west coast, the outrigger boats look like toys on the water, and the shallow reefs show through as darker patches in the turquoise sea. On clear days you can see the mountains of Panay across the strait and the small islands off Boracay's southern tip.

Boracay is only about 7 km long, so from the parachute you can follow much of its coastline at once. Morning flights usually give the clearest water colours and calmer winds, while afternoon flights come with warmer light. Whichever time you choose, keep your hands free: the 360 camera captures the scenery and your reactions without you having to hold anything.

Your 360-Degree Camera Video

This option includes a 360-degree action camera mounted for your flight, recording in every direction at once: the sea below, the sky, the parachute above and your own face. After the flight, the footage can be reframed into normal videos and photos, so you can choose the angle you like best long after you have landed.

For many guests the video is the best souvenir of their Boracay holiday, especially for solo travellers who would otherwise have no one to take their picture. The crew explains how you receive the file when you land; bring your phone so it can be shared easily. If you are flying as two or three on the group option, everyone appears in the same clip.

Safety, Season and How to Get to Boracay

Safety comes first: every flyer wears a harness and life jacket, the crew gives a briefing before take-off, and flights only go ahead when wind and sea are suitable. The crew chooses the calmer side of the island according to the season. During typhoon season, roughly June to November, some days are cancelled for safety and moved to another time. The best time to visit Boracay for water activities is the dry season, December to May.

How to get to Boracay: fly to Caticlan airport, then take the short transfer to the Caticlan jetty and a boat of about 15 minutes to Cagban port on Boracay; environmental and terminal fees are paid locally. Kalibo International Airport is about 1 h 30 to 2 h away by road and boat. We can arrange private transfers and combine parasailing with island hopping or a sunset sail.

The default option is a solo flight for one person, so the parachute and the camera are yours alone. A second option lets 2 or 3 people fly together on the same parachute.

Can we change the time or the pace?

You choose your departure time when booking. The flight length is fixed at about 15 minutes in the air, and the crew adjusts the flying area to the day's conditions.

How many people can fly together?

One person on the default solo option, or 2 to 3 people on the group option, subject to the crew's combined weight limit.

Is the price per person or per group?

The solo option is for one flyer; the group option is priced per person. The booking panel on this page shows the current price of each option.

Is hotel pickup included?

No. You meet our guide at the meeting point on Boracay, which we share when we confirm your booking. We can arrange a private transfer on request.

What is included?
